Enoughness Squad Goals
I’ve been thinking a lot about how we live, what we reach for when life gets tough, and what will make us happier versus what we think will make us happier.
To me it feels like if we really knew what we need to thrive it would free us up in so many brilliant ways.
And I know I’m not the only one.
So this is an invitation, really. To do it differently, be a bit more considered, and a lot more edited.
I’m building this space as I go, and if it resonates, it you want to come and be part of it, these are the Enoughness Squad Goals, things we can think about and actually do that gives us back our good enough, have enough, sense of power and above all purpose.
The algorithm wants us in its cross-hairs, and we don’t have to be there.
1. Awareness (the hot kind)
Autopilot > off.
2. Do you really need more, or are you just dopamine hunting?
Excess isn’t the route to joy, status, or self-worth. It just keeps you busy running after more and never arriving.
3. Balance
Because balance is sexy. Balance is magnetic. Actively balancing your life is a wildly underrated skill.
4. A new kind of aspiration
Think of it as mindfulness, with better taste. It holds your inner peace and your outer wanting, without letting either run the show.
5. Positive activism
When you know what you need, and what you already have, you can jump off the treadmill, and do something more meaningful with your time, style, wellbeing, energy and attention.
6. Emotional sobriety
Most of what we want is a reaction to cultural noise.
When you know the difference between reacting in a rush and responding like the editor-in-chief of your life, it’s a superpower.
7. Appreciate everything
Even the challenges. They are lessons in disguise.
8. A rupture with the Matrix
See through marketing, capitalism, inherited norms and “buy now” buttons, and step away from them where you can. Say “no” more often.
9. Choosing abundance over a lack mindset
Notice where you feel scarcity and lack, and flip it. Look at what you have already, and love it, use it, wear it and enjoy it all a bit more than before.
10. A radical call in
If we all lived this way, we really could change the world.
